ARDECHE 2014  VALLON.Pt.D'ARC

Who are we? This sensitive and energetic being pierced by the sun's rays

Confronting life, unaware of the passage of time.

Unable to objectively analyse experience.

Or

The wise, meditative person, in contact with spirits, instinctively knowing how to take the right way to avoid the storm.

Perhaps a bit of both.

Like a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis. A new being at each period of life.

Karate accentuates this feeling through movement and meditation.

In 1973 Master Kase and I, Michel Rousseau. One can also see my friends Lancinot and Franco Daloia, with whom we went to visit the Master in Japan. Forty years have gone by since that course.

I still love, as do others naturally, to perpetuate the passion he instilled in us, in faith and humanism.

Also to experience the enormous pleasure of seeing this magic received by others through my lessons, and carried on by others.

The Shotokan adventure can thus go on.

(Photo description)

The traditional summer course in St Raphael, once more under the prestigious managment of Master Kase 7th Dan, which brought together more than seventy participants. The course only lasted a week, but with two daily lessons, morning and evening. We especially worked on the Katas with Kunite applications, explained in length by the Master.
